In his role as Learning Director of CGI Parksville in New York, Ari Raskin faced the challenge of finding the right curriculum that would create a lasting impact on his campers. His attempts to gather ideas from past learning directors didn’t yield much success, as they struggled to receive positive feedback from their learning programs.
“I reached out to my brother about my dilemma and he introduced me to Tut Altz. They provide great materials, including a whole division designed just for kids,” Ari says. “I spoke to Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek of the Moshiach Office and we explored a few options together. I decided to go ahead with the Hilchos Moshiach curriculum that CGI Montreal successfully used last year with lots of positive feedback.”

With the provided Tut Altz curriculums, campers across the globe have internalized ideas for the Geulah generation. “The Rebbe envisioned the summer months as a time for learning, particularly delving into Moshiach during the three weeks,” Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Founder of the Moshiach Office and Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, says, “It's truly inspiring to see how many camps are responding to the Rebbe's call year after year.”
The Hilchos Moshiach curriculum delves into the Rambam, incorporating excerpts from the Rebbe's Dvar Malchus. It offers flexibility for multiple ages with stories, tidbits, and illustrations. Creativity is enhanced with questions and games that lead to further exploration and discussions.
The Our Moshe and Me curriculum, another summer camp favorite, offers a child-friendly exploration on themes of Hiskashrus and Geulah, drawing from the last kuntres distributed by the Rebbe, Ve’ata Tetzaveh. It features excerpts from the original maamar, illustrations, stories and stimulating discussion and review materials.
“We've witnessed a 300% increase in the amount of campers who are engaged in these curriculums from one summer to the next,” says Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, Director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302. “This stands as a testament to the importance and positive reception of the Moshiach curriculums, especially during the summer months when camps look for captivating and unique learning experiences for their campers.”
