As Chof-Beis Shvat approaches, an innovative program from the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302 was launched for girls' schools, bringing home the message of Chof Beis Shevat using interactive learning and puzzles.
Chabad schools worldwide commemorate the special day of Chof-Beis Shvat, the yahrzeit of the Rebbetzin, with various programs and events. Beyond just the yahrzeit of a special person, the Rebbe was emphatic that this day holds fundamental significance for the women of our generation.
“The Rebbe saw the passing of the Rebbetzin with a wide, cosmic lens.” says Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, Director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302, “That day was a watershed moment in Jewish history, a significant step in the coming of Moshiach, and Jewish women are now the frontrunners in the effort to complete the job.”
Home Sweet Home is a learning program modeled after the popular Live With Geulah Now series, which drives home the underpinning significance of Chof-Beis Shvat, as explained by the Rebbe, in relatable, fun language for elementary school-aged children.
One anonymous teacher who used the booklet in her classroom said, “Truthfully, I, as an adult, gained from learning those pages more than my students!”
The 10-page learning booklet, which includes stories and puzzles, is available online in English and Hebrew for FREE download at: TutAltz.com/welcomehome. Crown Heights schools can order free hard copies by emailing schools@tutaltz.com.
Tut Altz Kids, developers of the program, are offering prizes, media and additional support to assist any school in making a learning campaign for their girls from now until Chof-Beis Shvat.
Once the learning is complete, Hachlata forms have been created for students to fill out and enter into the exciting raffle. Submissions can be filled out here.
Entry for the raffle closes on Rosh Chodesh Adar.
